    About the Event

Theme: Level Up Online Learning for Ontario: Experimentation and Impact TESS is an annual event that provides Ontario colleges and universities with an opportunity to explore the intersection of technology and education. TESS 2019 is our opportunity to extend our horizons and mobilize our collective knowledge to build future online learning environments that are even more inclusive, engaging and enriching for our students. Day 1 offers a showcase of excellence in online learning from colleges and universities across Ontario in the form of presentations, panels, and ignite sessions in the following tracks: Creation, Delivery, Recognition, Collaboration, and Experimentation. Day 2 provides a highly interactive, small group learning experience on H5P, a free and open-source content collaboration technology tool. Through guided facilitation, participants will discuss cultivating an “experimenter mindset,” followed by the opportunity to test out that mindset, by using Pressbooks to create interactive H5P activities. Activities completed on Day 2 will award participants the Ontario Extend “Experimenter” badge.
