"Kelly Underell is a highly engaged community leader who is passionate about civic engagement and supporting a thriving Colorado economy. Kelly currently serves a the Executive Director of the Colorado Technology Foundation at the Colorado Technology Association (CTA), leading efforts to ensure that in this new technology economy Colorado’s supply of highly skilled workers meets industry demands. Prior to her role at CTA, Kelly held leadership positions with the Colorado Innovation Network at the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade, helping to shape the organization from the ground up, and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Kelly’s passion for community building is demonstrated by her volunteerism with organizations such as the Mile High United Way and the Downtown Denver Partnership. Kelly has been recognized as a Denver Business Journal “40 Under 40” winner (2015) and Denver Metro Leadership Foundation Impact Denver Alumni of the Year (2017). Kelly is a fist-generation college graduate, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is proud of her three nationalities – American, French and New Zealander – and loves to travel as much as possible. She lives in Denver, Colorado."
