About the Event

Welcome and thank you for attending the VAR Services Workshop 2014. We are excited to be hosting you for this five-day learning event at our corporate Dassault Systèmes Americas Campus. We hope this workshop provides you with new information and skills to help enhance the services you provide to our customers. This workshop is focused on customer facing pre-sale and post-sale operations. Breakout sessions will be hosted by senior staff from the SolidWorks Technical Support, Customer Center, Pre-sales Application Engineering, Order Management, Field Services, Training, and Territory Technical Managers (TTMs). We are also pleased to welcome our guest speakers, Sheryl Lindsell-Roberts, Writing and Communications Professional, and Professor Roberts, Associate Professor of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology. We also happily welcome our Service Partners, Epigrid Inc. and Silever Star Inc., as well as our Gold Partners, Pathfinder3D and ExactFlat. A full agenda with selections for separate tracks focusing on SolidWorks Technical Support, SolidWorks Electrical & Enterprise PDM, SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual, Sales & Soft Skills, Field Services, and Customer Center & Order Management, as well as a facility map are included in this app. Over the three days of the main workshop, we will also be offering campus tours and demonstrations of our 3D Virtual Reality Center. If this is your first visit to the campus, we welcome you to join us in one of these sessions. You may sign up at the front desk, where you check in, as space is limited. We will also be hosting a dinner event in the Dassault Systèmes Cafeteria, attended by SolidWorks staff from service areas, Sales, and R&D on Monday and Tuesday during the evening. During the last two days, we are offering 2-day training classes in SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks Plastics, SolidWorks Advanced EPDM, Introduction to API, Mechanical Conceptual, as well as Certification in Training.
