Spatial Biology: Mapping the Tumor Microenvironment
Visualizing Immunity, Transforming Cancer Treatment
About the event
Join Dr. Tullia C. Bruno, Assistant Professor of Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh and faculty member at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, as she explores cutting-edge spatial biology techniques for analyzing the tumor microenvironment. Dr. Bruno will share insights from her research program investigating the role of intratumoral B cells and tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) in human cancers and murine models. Drawing on her expertise in multispectral imaging and spatial transcriptomics, she will discuss how these advanced methodologies are revealing new dimensions of anti-tumor immunity and opening pathways toward novel immunotherapy strategies. This webinar will be particularly valuable for researchers and clinicians interested in translational cancer immunology and the emerging field of spatial biology.
