COVID-19 Policy
The Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees and employees. In order to provide a safe and comfortable environment, we are implementing the following COVID-19 protocols during our Aspen in August event. We will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines, and local health authority requirements and update our protocols accordingly.
VACCINES + ONE BOOSTER ARE REQUIRED
Attendees, presenters, and HGF staff are required to be fully vaccinated (two weeks have passed since receiving your second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna vaccines) or two weeks have passed since receiving the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine) and boosted (one booster) by Saturday, July 16, 2022.
COVID-19 TESTING PRIOR TO ASPEN
Attendees, presenters, and HGF staff are asked to take a rapid antigen test the morning of your travel day prior to leaving for Aspen to ensure that you are not COVID-19 positive.
IF YOU HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, please do not travel to Aspen unless you test negative on a rapid antigen test the day of departure and a full 10 days have passed since either your symptoms started or the date of your first positive test if you were asymptomatic.
CLOSE CONTACT
If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days, please wear a well-fitting mask throughout your time in Aspen.
CDC defines “close contact” with someone who has COVID-19 as being within 6 feet of that person (with or without a mask) for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period. (For example, three individual 5-minute exposures for a total of 15 minutes).
COVID-19 TESTING DURING ASPEN IN AUGUST
Attendees, presenters, and HGF staff will be required to take daily rapid antigen tests. Guests will receive tests they can take in the morning on their own, and the HGF team will have tests at all activities for those who need them.
MASKS
Please wear a mask during travel to Aspen. Masks will be optional throughout the remainder of our time together. We are mindful that we all have different comfort levels, and while some of us will be happy to be able to enjoy the gathering mask-free, others may not feel comfortable being unmasked around others. We want to support you in this personal decision and encourage you to wear a mask at our gathering if you choose to do so.
QUESTIONS
If you have additional questions, please email the HGF team at aspenevent@hgf.org, and we will be happy to help you.
