What qualifications are needed to submit a pitch?
We ask that you are over 18 and are responding on behalf of a registered company, with a website and examples of your work online. We also ask that any idea you pitch is your own, and that you have the legal right to submit it to us. The full terms and conditions for submitting a pitch are here.
Is this open to production companies in the UK only?
No, this is open to production companies around the world, however all business will be conducted in English, and English will be the primary language for the commissioned work.
I’m a content creator, how do I get involved?
Unfortunately, we can’t commission directly from creators. We strongly advise you find a production company to partner with, and who can pitch on your behalf. We also work closely with BBC Studios TalentWorks, who identify and develop emerging creator talent in the digital space, and help them gain production experience.

How do I submit a pitch?
Please take time to read our briefs and formulate a response. This should be presented in a simple, clear pitch document (Word or pdf format). At the bottom of each brief is a submission form. Please fill in that form and attach your pitch document. We will review and let you know if we’d like to progress your pitch further.

Can I ask you a question before I pitch?
Yes please! There will be a Q&A function available alongside the briefs. We'll ensure your question is routed to the right person, and we'll share the answer as soon as we can.
What accessibility features are available for live sessions?
Closed captioning is available for all video briefs. You will find a CC button on the player window which will turn English language captions on and off. These are displayed over the lower part of the image when turned on.
