Melanie Redman
As the Principal Researcher in the WorkSpace Futures group at Steelcase, Melanie explores the dynamics of work, workers, and workplaces and on how AI tools are transforming work and its implications for physical spaces. Melanie has led global surveys, foresight research, and studies on the pandemic's impact on workspaces. She shares insights through a monthly newsletter and has co-authored articles for Harvard Business Review. Melanie has spoken at various conferences, including Corenet and Munich Creative Business Week.
Meghan Stettler
As a trusted voice for the O.C. Tanner Institute, Meghan Stettler specializes in knitting together key sentiments and perspectives to identify win-win strategies for workplace cultures throughout the world. An award-winning journalist, consultant, and speaker, Meghan has forged many diplomatic partnerships, interfacing with CEOs, ambassadors, and governors, and broken stories on news outlets like Al Jazeera, PBS SoCal, News 12 New York, and ABC Radio. She is a three-time recipient of HRD Magazine’s Global 100 Leader award, the definitive list of the leading people practitioners.
Meghan received an MA in specialized journalism from the University of Southern California and pursued advanced studies in global affairs through New York University. She was recently named International Person of the Year by World Trade Association of Utah.
Gary Strehlke
Gary Strehlke is the Global Wellbeing Manager at Steelcase, dedicated to enhancing employee health, resilience, and engagement. With a background in corporate wellness, neuroscience, and mental health, he creates sustainable wellbeing initiatives. Gary holds an MS in Human Movement and certifications in Motivational Interviewing and Health Coaching. At Steelcase, he advises on mental health, ergonomics, and crisis response, supporting HR initiatives like workplace safety and burnout prevention. His diverse experience includes managing wellness programs, teaching, and advocacy.
Ian Wall, Ph.D.
Ian Wall leads the People Analytics team at Steelcase, applying scientific rigor to organizational decisions. His team addresses issues like DEI, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness using mixed methods. Ian earned his Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Psychology and has managed NIH and NSF-funded research projects. His work is published in journals like Social Science & Medicine. At Steelcase, Ian focuses on evidence-based talent selection and organizational culture, driving data-informed strategies for business success.
