A 1984 graduate from Cornell University Medical College, Dr. DiBernardo received the school's Charles H. Horn Prize for outstanding leadership and service to the medical community. He spent five years as a general surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, before embarking on a two-year residency in Plastic Surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in N.Y. In 1991, Dr. Barry DiBernardo began his work in private practice.
