Dr. Ali Shameem is the head of ICT at Surabaya Intercultural School, Indonesia. He has been working with technology integration and 1:1 environment since 2006. Dr. Shameem previously served as the director of educational technology and head of computer science at King's Academy in Amman, Jordan where he was instrumental in the creation and execution of 1:1 Bring Your Own Device laptop program to support personalized learning with technology. Over the years, Dr. Shameem participated at a number of EdTech events all over the globe to share his passion and views on the benefits of effective technology integration and need for computer science education at schools. Dr. Shameem holds a PhD in Teaching, Learning, and Technology as well as a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Lehigh University. An avid instructional technologist with research interest in teacher learning, technology integration, teachers’ attitudes towards technology, and the influence of culture on technology integration, Dr. Shameem enjoys working with teachers and students alike.
