Brendan Biography I am currently the i-STEAM coordinator at GWA (Singapore). Before moving to Gems Singapore I taught in international schools in China and a number Government and Private schools in my home country Australia. I have been a Science and Mathematics educator for the last 22 years. I have taught Mathematics, Science, Chemistry, Physics and ICT in my time as a teacher, much of these in the MYP and Diploma International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes of which I have been a moderator and workshop leader. I was nominated in 2013 for the Australian Prime Minister's Science Teacher award and have worked with the Powerhouse Museum in Australia on developing and trialling curriculum for the Mars Lab. I believe in lifelong learning and my passions and interests are in innovative teaching and learning, STEAM, Educational Technology, Inquiry based learning, Global education and Differentiation through the use of Technology.
