Ira Joshi has over 10 years of experience in conceptualizing and developing children’s educational content for media. As VP-Education and Research, Ira is responsible for spearheading the education and formative research function within the Sesame Workshop India office. She feels passionate about the role of educational media in influencing children’s knowledge and behaviors. She has worked with a diverse team of content developers, creative directors, designers, and researchers to create engaging, educational and meaningful content for children in India. Prior to working with SWI, she worked with an NGO and supported their curriculum development and training of preschool teachers. Ira holds a Masters in Child Development from Lady Irwin College in New Delhi. She has a one-year old who constantly challenges her planning and structured routine. In her new role as a parent, she is trying her best to meet work life balance.
