Richard Henry Bio I have been fortunate to work within the field of my passion...education. In that time seen significant paradigm shifts occur in education. I am committed to the principles of international education as stated in the UNESCO report; Learning: The Treasure Within, which states that education is imperative to developing ‘a culture of peace through intercultural understanding, non-violent conflict resolution, universal values, valuing freedom, solidarity and equity’. I believe a key goal of education must be to engage teachers and students to a lifelong commitment to learning, and empower individuals to make valuable contributions at local, regional and global levels. My career thus far has afforded me a great many opportunities to work across the globe and I am committed to being the catalyst to cultivate a positive climate in which there is enthusiasm from all stakeholders towards improved educational practices.
