Laura Andre‐Boyet, was born in Saint‐Martin‐d’Hères, France. She first earned a Master’s Degree in Life Sciences and a First Cycle Medical Studies degree from the University of Grenoble, France. After her engineering studies in France and Canada, she worked in 2005, as a researcher in a biomaterial laboratory in Tsukuba, Japan, working on drug mediation. Two years later, Laura specialized in the Space sector, working as a Space Experiments Activities Manager at the French Space Centre, CNES, developing , handling and supporting in real‐time the Human physiology experiments performed on the ISS. She participated in 2010 in the Basic Training of the 2009 ESA Astronaut Class as an Anatomy and Physiology instructor and in the same year moved to Cologne to become an Astronaut Instructor and a Simulation Director at the European Astronaut Centre. In October 2012, after completion of a Space specialised MBA at the International Space University , she decided to focus on Suborbital Spaceflights working especially on some selection and training standards for the spaceflight participants.
