BRAINDATE: SMALL GROUP DISCUSSIONS
What is Braindate?
Braindates are small group conversations based on suggested topics that you can find on the Braindate Topic Market. They can be used to brainstorm, solve challenges, share expertise or experiences while meeting new (brilliant!) people. This is your chance to dive into engaging discussions, expand your knowledge and learn out loud.
What do I do during a Braindate session?
Keep in mind that Braindates are not presentations, they are conversations that stem from a shared interest. Keep the following 5 tips in mind to have a meaningful Braindate:
1. Make sure everyone introduces themselves and contributes to the topic discussion.
2. Ask fellow participant(s) what interested them about the topic.
3. Be transparent and honest about your own experience related to the topic: You don’t need to be an expert to attend a braindate.
4. Remember that everyone has something interesting they can add to the conversation: Adopt a beginner’s mindset.
5. Don’t forget to share contact information. Many great relationships started with a simple conversation.
