Hi! I'm Megan Leap. I'm a digital marketing consultant specializing in conversion-focused digital marketing strategy and campaigns. I have 10 years of experience in digital marketing. I've been recognized for my expertise at the intersection of search, conversion, social media, and content marketing, and my work has been featured in The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine, and SmartBrief. I speak frequently at industry conferences, including Content Marketing World, MarketingProfs’ B2B Forum, and Search Engine Strategies/ClickZ Live. I love writing, too, and have written for ClickZ, MarketingProfs, Search Engine Journal, and more. One of my most recent client success stories is building & executing a successful digital strategy from the ground up for Tyson Fresh Meats. I doubled in-store sales in the test region with an integrated search, display, PPC, and social media program that utilized effective landing pages and A/B testing. This was the first time Tyson was able to track purchases from impression to in-store purchase. In 2014, I was named one of the top 25 most influential marketers in PPC. In 2012, I won a Which Test Won award (silver level) for my landing page tests for MarketingProfs. Before moving into consulting full time, I was in charge of marketing and content at the Online Marketing Institute. Prior to that, I was online marketing manager at MarketingProfs, where I led their social media and conversion optimization initiatives. I started out my career at ion interactive, where I built their social media, marketing automation, and content marketing programs from the ground up. After I left ion and joined MarketingProfs, ion hired me two additional times: 1) to manage their social media marketing and blog marketing (again), and 2) to conduct in-person social media training for their sales team.
