Gabriel Luna-Ostaseski is the Founder of Upshift Partners. As a serial entrepreneur from the age of 18, Gabriel has honed a keen understanding of business development, organizational management, and startup culture. He now leverages these skills to help others build and scale successful ventures. After years of experience scaling companies, Gabriel most recently opened a sales accelerator called Upshift Partners to share the knowledge he had developed over his career. The company works directly with startup founders to establish the systems and team needed to rapidly ramp sales. By replicating his own past successes and proven ability to avoid costly mistakes, Gabriel accelerates companies to a position that is primed for growth. In 2005, Gabriel co-founded the home improvement marketplace Calfinder where he bootstrapped sales from zero to over $20 million in a 5-year period. He was responsible for building all aspects of Calfinder’s sales strategy, from developing strategic partnerships and various sales channels to scaling the sales team. Prior to Calfinder, Gabriel co-founded the first environmentally friendly painting company in California called Moondance. Here, he grew sales to over $1 million in less than 12 months before licensing the system to other businesses across California. Originally from the Bay area of California, Gabriel now lives in San Francisco where he is helping to launch a private-membership club to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and artists under one roof. In his spare time, Gabe enjoys cooking, photography, and most recently, heli-snowboarding.
