Dr. Diane Hayes gravitated to epidemiology while in graduate school, drawn by a love for data and a curiosity to see what she might learn. Most people hate statistics but Diane loves it, at heart she is a true scientist. She spent time in academia, working on large NIH sponsored clinical trials but the bulk of her career has been in the business world. Diane enjoys taking an idea, molding it, making it happen—she has the perfect drive for an entrepreneur. Diane will tell you that since her days of playing college basketball she has loved being part of a team; it appeals to her desire to work with others, make a plan and execute together. She finds the InCrowd team an inspiring group and can learn something from them every day. Diane runs operations for InCrowd and manages the respondent side of the business. Currently that means recruiting, engaging and developing a very large Crowd of healthcare professionals. She blogs on a variety of data, panel management and mobile market research topics. During her free time Diane enjoys walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean (a perk of living in Florida), watching any sporting event (except the Red Sox), learning a new technology and spending time with family and friends.
