Kate serves as a Director for Aetna’s Enterprise Intelligence division leading a team of market research and consumer insight professionals in providing senior management with strategic direction through activation of customer insight, including segmentation and personas, health journey goals and barriers, digital experience, and pathways to health engagement. Kate is passionate about fostering business transformation that enables health and wellness. Her career spans over 15 years in driving consumer-centric innovation and brand growth in Insight and Innovation roles in consumer goods and now health care. Leveraging strategic insight from cultural trends, ethnographic observation and in-depth interviews, segmentation and needs-based market structure, and leading new product development and brand tracking methodologies, she has a successful track record informing brand development, communications strategy, and innovation planning. Kate sat on the Board of Governors of the Middleboro MA branch of YMCA and received a President’s Award of Distinction from Ocean Spray. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a BA in Psychology from University of Connecticut.
