Marlo Sobush graduated from Lakehead University in 2008 from the Native Teacher Education Program and is currently teaching at Johnny Therriault School in Aroland First Nation. She is a member of Lake Helen First Nation. Marlo has had the opportunity to teach many different grades throughout her career which range from primary, junior, senior, along with adult education. Marlo realizes that students entering the classroom each day are moving more towards a world of technology and, therefore, she tries to implement the use of technology and software into her classroom as much as she possibly can. Working closely with the Ministry of Education and the Google Team, she was able to successfully set up Johnny Therriault School as a Google Apps for Education based learning environment which allows students and staff the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the many useful apps which may assist in their learning.
