Money Smarts Creative Challenge 2023
About The Event
New for 2023, the Money Smarts Creative Challenge is an alternative Money Smarts initiative for students and teachers who would prefer to take on a more creative challenge. Like the Money Smarts Quiz Challenge, this challenge focuses on teaching students about Financial Wellbeing in a fun and interesting way. It puts the control back into the hands of the students as we look to them to provide us with their insights on the topic. There are three categories included in this challenge and students, either individually or working as part of a team can pick the category to submit an entry to. There are no limits on numbers, or imagination. We’re looking for the most creative, eye-catching and exciting entries, so dig deep and think BIG! Entries must be submitted by 11.59pm on the 28th of April to Youth@cmsmarketing.com, the top five in individual and three in team submissions from each category will be invited to showcase their work to a panel of experts at the Science Gallery Trinity College Dublin on the 12th of May 2023. The Three Categories are as follows and the formal application form will be emailed to you following registration. 1. It All Ads Up – Which invites students to create a TV/ Radio or Social Media Ad to generate interest from teenagers around Financial Wellbeing 2. Financial Times – Gives students the chance to write / record an opinion piece for a media house on the topic of Youth Financial Literacy and why it is or isn’t an important life skill 3. The Art of Influence – Invites students to submit a plan that persuades teachers and the Department of Education that Youth Financial Literacy should be added to the school curriculum Terms and Conditions apply.
