New Pathways to Real-World Learning Experiences

    September 17 - 19, 2024

    About The Event

How might new pathways serve as an equity and opportunity strategy to embed real-world learning in schools across the country so that every student can experience success in what’s next? Let’s pave the way together. Getting Smart and Real World Learning, a program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, in collaboration with American Student Assistance, invite you to gather, design, and explore with us. Join us as we align on innovative new pathways and share key learnings and strategies of successful implementation of the Real World Learning initiative in the Kansas City region. Questions? Please email rwlpathways@kauffman.org.

    Who Should Attend?

    • Educator leaders and school administrators who wish to share and learn about integrating real-world experiences into the student experience (superintendents, district/central office personnel, building leaders, ed-adjacent program leaders, CTE directors, C&I directors, teacher dept head leaders, RWL coordinators)

    • Policymakers who wish to understand the impact of real-world learning on educational policy and support necessary changes.

    • Local and regional business and industry leaders who wish to explore opportunities for partnerships that offer students real-world experiences.

    • Students (as participants) who wish to voice their needs and perspectives on career readiness.

    • Community organizations/intermediaries to collaborate on supporting student success beyond the classroom.

    Questions? Please email rwlpathways@kauffman.org.
