Elisabeth A. Handley is the Deputy Director of Operations in the Center for Program Integrity. She brings diverse experience from within HHS across programs and functions, including five years with the OIG and more than a decade with CMS, including regulating managed care organizations and partnership development. Lis most recently worked for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) where she was the Deputy National Coordinator for Operations. She has also led community health center programs at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and outreach and involvement of cancer advocates and professional societies at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She began her federal career as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Social Security Administration, after receiving a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida State University.
