    Session Overview

    Supplier engagement is at an important inflection point for education. This opening session invites procurement, sourcing, finance, supplier inclusion, and institutional leaders to take a clear-eyed look at the current state of supplier engagement and consider what needs to be reset for the future. Participants will explore how program maturity influences an institution’s response to today’s operating environment, and how a more intentional supplier engagement strategy can better align with mission, structure, culture, operational priorities, and community impact.

    Ralph G. Moore

    Ralph G. Moore is the founder and president of Ralph G. Moore & Associates, a Chicago-based consulting firm recognized as a global leader in supplier inclusion strategies and minority business development. He authored the RGMA Five Levels of Supplier Inclusion maturity model, recognized in the collateral as a global gold standard for benchmarking supplier inclusion initiatives.

    Reginald K. Layton

    Reginald K. Layton brings more than 25 years of experience building supplier engagement, supply base sustainability, and supplier inclusion initiatives. His background includes leading major supplier diversity and inclusion strategies and creating the Layton Value Compass, a proprietary framework for building and measuring supplier inclusion and supply base sustainability strategies.
