Communities across the country are facing major threats from the climate crisis at uneven levels. Data shows that Black residents of these communities continue to disproportionately experience the impacts of environmental and systemic injustices which undermines their ability to live healthy & safe lives and fully participate in the economy.

Since 2014, the Power of Difference Summit is Bloomberg Black Professional Community’s signature event, which brings together key leaders across industries to engage in dialogue and to drive innovation and business impact. The 2022 Power of Difference Summit, held in partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies' Greenwood Initiative, seeks to highlight and discuss bold and equitable climate approaches that improve the well-being of overburdened and underinvested Black communities while tackling the solutions that reduce risk and support prosperity.
