    About the Event


    What is Special Forces Summit?

    Special Forces Summit is the event that brings the entire channel together. It is a multi-day, power-packed conference hosted by AVANT and one of the best opportunities of the year to participate in enhanced training, networking, thought leadership conversations, and more.


    Who typically attends Special Forces?

    Special Forces Summit is attended by more than 1,000 AVANT Trusted Advisors, as well as channel providers, industry leaders, and AVANT team members.


    Registration & Travel


    What does my registration include? 

    The following is included for all types of registration tickets: Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday (10/6) and Wednesday (10/7), access to all Main Stage and breakout sessions, and entry to our evening events on Tuesday (10/6) and Wednesday (10/7). Trusted Advisor and provider registrations will also receive complimentary tickets they can redeem for a variety of Summit swag! 


    Can I update my registration details after signing up? 

    Yes. Find your original Registration Confirmation email and choose “Manage Registration Details” at the bottom of the email. You’ll be taken to a page where you can update your registration details to RSVP for evening events, add or remove sessions, and cancel or transfer your registration if you can no longer attend. 

     

    When does registration close? 

    Summit attendees can register online up until Sunday, October 4. After this, on-site registration is available. 


    Where do people go to check in?
    All attendees can check in at the general registration desk on the 3rd Floor in the Dallas Foyer (outside of the Main Ballroom). Pinnacle Registration is outside of the Pinnacle Lounge on the 3rd Floor, Fair Park 1. Both open on Monday, 10/05, at 11:00 AM. Please have your ticket pulled up on your phone for a quick check-in process. You can find it on the Home Page of the mobile app.


    Can I transfer my registration to another team member if I can no longer attend?
    Yes. To transfer your ticket, please find your original Registration Confirmation email and choose “Manage Registration Details” at the bottom of the email. You’ll be taken to a page where you can transfer your ticket to your team member!


    Hotel & Accommodations


    Are all meals included with registration, or should I budget separately?
    Breakfast and lunch are included with registration and will be served on Tuesday (10/06) and Wednesday (10/07) outside of the Dallas & Trinity Ballrooms. We’ll also provide snacks and beverages throughout the day.
    There will be an assortment of dinner options at our Opening Reception Block Party on Monday (10/05). Attendees are welcome to make their own dinner plans on Tuesday (10/06) and Wednesday (10/07). There will be light bites available at the Closing Party on Wednesday.


    Are meal options available for different dietary restrictions?
    We are able to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free options. All items will be clearly labeled for easy identification. If you have more specific dietary needs, we recommend planning for your own meals to ensure you’re fully accommodated.


    Is parking available on-site? If so, what is the cost?
    Yes, the Omni Dallas offers hourly and overnight parking. Below are the rates. AVANT cannot offer parking validation. Please check with the front desk at the hotel for additional parking questions.
    Valet Parking Rates:
    0 – 4 hours: $28
    4 – 8 hours: $34
    Overnight: $40
    Self-Parking Rates:
    0 – 4 hours: $21
    4 – 8 hours: $24
    Overnight: $30 – In and out privileges


    On-Site Experience


    Will session recordings or slides be available after the event?
    We are recording some of the Main Stage keynotes and will share them with attendees to access in Pathfinder and on the AVANT website shortly after the event.


    How do I reserve a spot in breakouts—advance sign-up or first come, first served? 
    Breakouts are first come, first served. You can “favorite” breakouts via the “All Sessions” tab in the app (coming soon), but this will not automatically reserve a spot for you in that session. 


    What is the dress code?
    There is no specific dress code. Most attendees choose smart casual or business casual attire throughout the event.


    Will session recordings or slides be available after the event

    We are recording some of the Main Stage keynotes and will share them with attendees shortly after the event. 


    Networking & Vendor Engagement


    What is Vendor Park?
    Vendor Park is our designated area for vendor networking. All CX AI vendors will be located in Dallas Ballrooms E&F. All other vendors will be next door, in the Trinity Ballroom. Both are located on the 3rd floor.


    How does the badge/contact exchange system work at SFS26?
    You can use your badge to seamlessly connect with other attendees, download content instantly, and take part in our SFS on-site game. Simply tap your badge at designated touchpoints to collect points, earn badges along the way, and win exciting prizes! We’ll share more details leading up to the start of Summit.


    Are evening networking events included automatically, or do they require sign-up?
    Evening events are included in your registration ticket and DO NOT require additional sign-ups.


    Pinnacle & Recognition


    What are the Pinnacle benefits this year? 
    All Pinnacle members have access to our exclusive Pinnacle Lounge, located in Fair Park 1 on the 3rd floor, as well as our Pinnacle registration desk, located right outside of the lounge, where they can experience a fast check-in process and a complimentary glass of Champagne in the lounge!
    Pinnacle members can use the lounge as a quiet space to relax, take calls or meetings, and enjoy a selection of exclusive snacks and drinks.


    Are there any Pinnacle-only events this year?
    Yes, we will host a Pinnacle-only Champagne Toast on Wednesday, 10/07 at 4:15 PM in the Pinnacle Lounge after the Closing Keynote! All Pinnacle members are invited to attend.
