Jeanette Gamble is an Executive Director in Technology at Morgan Stanley. Jeanette is a native of Northern Ireland, and joined Morgan Stanley’s Technology Analyst program in 2000 following university studies in the UK earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology. Jeanette has traversed the globe, having held a number of country assignments before settling in New York City ten years ago. Jeanette is a true example of the lack of bounds for women in technology, and her career has been a testament to the power of diversity in some of the most demanding technical roles – application development, incident/crisis management, and infrastructure engineering. Jeanette currently leads a global team in excess of 200 staff, and represents Morgan Stanley with many key industry and vendor partners. Jeanette has long been an advocate for diversity, and gives back substantially through mentoring early-career women on career outlook and progression. Jeanette is Co-Chair of Morgan Stanley’s Carnegie Mellon Campus Recruitment team and is the founder of two STEM and Diversity focused high school internship programs at Morgan Stanley. In addition, Jeanette is an active member of Morgan Stanley’s Women in Technology Executive Committee, and is proud to hold a leadership role in coordinating the “Powered by Morgan Stanley” exhibit to given focus to Women in Technology at this year’s S.H.E. Summit. Being a new mother to a beautiful daughter has further propelled Jeanette’s desire to help women lead, feel empowered and break boundaries. Her goal in 2017 is to ensure even more females come through high school and college programs into the technology field than ever before.
