Seedstars World 2014

About the Event

Seedstars World (SSW) is a worldwide startup competition in emerging markets and fast growing startup scenes. The Seedstars World team travelled to 20 different countries in 2013 to bring back to Switzerland, on February 4th, 2014, the best entrepreneurs for a grand final and conference. Nearly a thousand startups applied, but only one will win an equity investment of up to $500k. The Seedstars World startups will host a booth and get a chance to discuss and interact with the public, but only the 5 finalists will pitch on stage to compete for the title of Seedstars World Best Startup 2013 and the investment equity. In addition to the final competition, the event main focus will be to give a glance at the opportunities for innovation and new technologies in emerging markets through booths, talks and information.
