To ensure you have the best possible experience, here are a few tips and friendly reminders:
1. Review the agenda: Explore session descriptions below and visit the event site for a full schedule.
a. Community Conversations – In these facilitated community discussions, attendees will be organized into groups based on their implementation approach (state education agency, local or education service agency, implementation service provider, or source system vendor). These conversations will drive to identify the Big Ideas for 2024.
b. In the Tech Weeds - These sessions offer a deep dive into the Ed-Fi Data Standard and technology stack and provide the opportunity to share feedback across community groups.
c. Future Forward – This session type seeks to explore and innovate the data standard and tech stack.
d. Best Practice Showcase – In showcase sessions, you’ll learn how fellow community members use the Ed-Fi Data Standard and technology suite.
2. First-time attendees: New to the Ed-Fi Alliance community? Join our Monday afternoon sessions for an overview of our technology suite, implementation best practices, and API functionality.
3. Opportunities for networking: Please attend our welcome reception Monday from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in White River F Ballroom or Tuesday from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at High Velocity Sports Tavern.
4. Download Bizzabo: Download the Bizzabo app from the Apple or Android stores to tailor your event experience.
5. Registration: Visit the registration desk at the White River Conference area, on level T of the JW Marriott to pick up your badge and conference materials beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 22.

7. Event location and transportation: The event will take place at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, 14 miles from Indianapolis International Airport. Visit https://www.ind.com/ for airport transportation details.
8. Parking: Attendees can park at the JW Marriott garage, which is accessible from Washington Street or Maryland Street and connects directly to the event space. Additional parking is available directly across the street at the Government Garage.
9. Dress: We recommend business casual attire. Please bring a sweater or light jacket, as meeting rooms and evening temperatures can become chilly.
10. Weather: Weather in Indianapolis fluctuates in April. The forecast shows highs in the upper 60s and low 70s and evenings in the low 50s and upper 40s.
