Angie is an entrepreneur and intrapraneur. As one of the founders of Capital One Labs, she sparked a revolution inside the company. She currently leads a team of Product Strategists, Designers and Engineers who are reimagining how people will interact with their bank on a day-to-day basis through their mobile devices. Angie was instrumental in performing due diligence on our recent acquisition of Level Money, a San Francisco-based technology company that take a mobile and simple approach to money management. The award-winning Level Money simplifies money management for young adults, and has helped hundreds of thousands of consumers manage more than $12 billion in transactions. The Level Money app has been downloaded over 800,000 times. This acquisition positions Capital One to move further along our digital journey, particularly in the mobile area. In addition to the Level Money app, Angie and her teams are building the products and the platforms to give people clarity and control over their daily cashflow, get their money "off the bus" and ultimately spend less time banking and more time living. Prior to joining Capital One, she was part of the founding team at Wikia where she built out the largest collaborative fan community on the planet. Angie started her career at Microsoft where she launched the first mobile game, Links Golf and worked on the global expansion of the Xbox franchise. Angie has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Finance from Louisiana State Angie is most proud of her near perfect Jazz Fest attendance record and spends her time exploring San Francisco all over again through her daughter's eyes.
