2022 Student Conference
13-14 October
Our Student Conference was open to all students and recent graduates who wanted to understand if the Amazon culture was a great fit for their career!
Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career? Are you in your final year, about to graduate, and exploring what the future will look like?
Immerse yourself into the Amazon Operations' culture by learning what makes it so special and hear the stories of graduates who recently joined the business, their experiences and their tips on how to become successful. Join Amazon leaders and get an insight into how they developed their career since joining and what you can expect from your future at the company!
We put together two days of great presentations to show you what life at Amazon looks like. We showed you what our roles involve on a day-to-day basis, had sessions around leadership, sustainability and our inclusive culture, thanks to the collaboration of many teams and affinity groups, including the Black Employee Network, Glamazon, Women@Amazon, AmaZen and so much more!
Testimonials
My biggest takeaway from the sessions is that Amazon is more than just the app that brings you gifts the next day! It’s the incredible people that drive the company to be Earth’s BEST employer. I joined today’s sessions without a precise agenda, only that I was curious, and I’m happy I made time for it. I’ve learned so much about the company, how it looks after its people, and [I’m now] eager to take my chance and apply.

Begin Your Journey:
“A Day in your Shoes”
During the conference we offered a fantastic opportunity for 3 students keen to join Amazon Operations. Anyone applying to one of the job positions sponsored during the conference, got the chance to win an on-site shadowing opportunity: to learn directly form an Amazon Leader!
Swagless Initiative
In order to respond to our customers’ need and align with the Amazon Climate Pledge, we committed to adopting a swag-less approach.
What does this mean? For every student attendee, in place of the usual event freebies, we donated €5 to the partner charity of your choice.
