Alex van Voorhees

Alex van Voorhees is Senior Counsel, Trading and Markets at Genesis Trading, where he is responsible for derivatives and spot trading in the legal department and serves as the General Counsel of Genesis Global Markets Limited. Mr. van Voorhees represents Genesis Trading on several ISDA and SIFMA committees and participates on a number of working groups for digital asset trade associations. Prior to joining Genesis Trading, Mr. van Voorhees was Director & Assistant General Counsel in the Bank of America legal department, where he represented the global interest rates and the foreign exchange prime brokerage lines of business and covered fixed income electronic trading initiatives for global markets. Mr. van Voorhees graduated from Trinity College, and received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated cum laude and Order of the Coif.
