WHAT IS THE GLAUCOMA 360 ANNUAL GALA?
On Thursday, February 8, 2024, this annual benefit showcases the visionaries and catalysts who share Glaucoma Research Foundation's mission to cure glaucoma and restore vision through innovative research. Attendees can participate in person at the event.
WILL THE 2024 GALA BE LIVE STREAMED? CAN I ATTEND VIRTUALLY?
The 2024 Annual Gala is “an in-person only” event. The Gala will not be live streamed. It will not be possible to attend virtually or view the Gala remotely.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The ANNUAL GALA: anyone who wants to help speed the cure and prevent vision loss from glaucoma.
WHAT IS GLAUCOMA 360?
Glaucoma 360 is a series of four events presented by Glaucoma Research Foundation to highlight the latest advances in glaucoma research and the development of novel therapies. Glaucoma 360 brings together leaders in glaucoma research, industry, and philanthropy to speed the translation of new ideas to improved therapies for glaucoma patients and ultimately, to find a cure for this blinding disease. Having the four events: the Gala, the Forum, the CME, and the CE enables a unique way, over three days, for those most concerned in finding a cure for glaucoma to share ideas and network.
WHO ARE THE FOUNDERS OF GLAUCOMA 360?
Glaucoma 360 is the inspiration of Adrienne Graves, PhD and Andrew Iwach, MD, who are both members of the Glaucoma Research Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Graves is a visual scientist by training, a global industry leader in ophthalmology, and the former CEO of Santen Inc. Dr. Iwach, GRF’s Board Chair, is Executive Director of the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco, Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of California at San Francisco, and a faculty instructor at the California Pacific Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology.

The iconic Westin St. Francis San Francisco is located on Union Square in San Francisco. Our special rate is $279 per/night, plus tax and fees.
The deadline to book a sleeping room at The Westin St. Francis San Francisco is February 3, 2024. After this date, the hotel will need to be contacted directly to confirm availability.
The destination fee is waived for those who book with the group link. An extended room block period is available, allowing attendees to conveniently arrive before the meeting begins or stay a few extra days to enjoy the best of California.

Garage Parking is available on-site at the Westin St. Francis, with in and out privileges.
Parking Fees: Hourly parking is available for $12.00 an hour with a two-hour minimum, $12.00 an hour thereafter. Daily Parking is $75.00. Overnight parking for $85.50, $96.90 for oversized vehicles or SUV’s, tax included.
The garage entrance is located at 350 Geary Blvd, in San Francisco.
Charging is available for Tesla and other electric vehicles for $10.00 per stay.

CAN I TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
For guests who wish to take the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train, The Westin St. Francis San Francisco is located at Union Square, 0.4 miles from the Powell BART station. Upon exiting the station, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes on a gradual incline.

For those used shared ride services, including Uber and Lyft, pickup and drop off are in two separate locations. The pick up spot is 320 Geary, and drop off is at 350 Geary.
WHAT IS YOUR HEALTH POLICY?
Glaucoma Research Foundation is committed to the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, staff, and volunteers. In line with best practices as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the State of California and City of San Francisco, we will not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for entry to Glaucoma 360.

Gala tickets are non-refundable but if you are unable to attend, we are happy to convert your in-person ticket or table purchase to a tax-deductible donation to Glaucoma Research Foundation.
