About the Event
The APWA Iowa Chapter is excited to offer two popular certificate programs this fall, on Wednesday September 23, in Cedar Rapids. These programs provide comprehensive skills and knowledge about winter maintenance operations for participants. The Iowa State Roadeo Competition will be held on Thursday, September 24, also in Cedar Rapids.
Winter Maintenance Supervisor Certificate
One of APWA’s most popular certificate programs, this course is designed for forepersons, supervisors, and managers of winter maintenance operations. Learn how to build and manage an effective, efficient, and environmentally responsible snow and ice control program. Learn more here.
Winter Maintenance Operator Certificate
This four-hour workshop provides a practical overview of snow and ice control for operators involved in winter maintenance activities. Participants will learn about materials, equipment operations, and snow and ice control techniques, and will receive a certificate of completion. Learn more here.
