About the Event
Join us in Ames for the APWA Iowa Chapter 2026 Fall Conference—a must-attend event for public works professionals across the state. Connect with colleagues, hear from industry leaders, take part in chapter business, and celebrate the work shaping Iowa’s communities—all in one place. Kick things off with a golf outing on Wednesday, October 7, then head to the evening welcome reception to network and get ready for a full lineup of sessions on Thursday and Friday, October 8-9.
APWA Iowa Chapter is partnering with United Way of Story County for our first ever fall conference service project! We are looking for ~25 to help us build mini first aid kits. The kit building will start at 4:00 pm at Torrent Brewing Company (the site of the welcome reception) on Wednesday, October 7. This is the perfect little activity for us non-golfers to complete before the welcome reception officially begins!
Due to venue space constraints, vendor booths will not be offered at this year's conference. We want to ensure our industry partners receive meaningful exposure and attendee engagement, and the available space does not support an optimal exhibit experience.
However, if you would still like to support the chapter, sponsorship opportunities remain available. We sincerely appreciate the support of our sponsors in helping make this event a success.
