ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
PRESENTER AND CO-AUTHORS
The first author serves as the primary presenting author and is expected to participate in the in-person meeting. Each first author may submit one oral abstract and one poster presentation. The first author is responsible for ensuring that all listed co-authors receive a copy of the abstract and are allowed to offer feedback before submitting it to LaserNetUs for consideration.
The presenter and any co-authors can submit up to two extracts per project: 1) One Contributed Oral and 2) One Poster Presentation for the same project. However, we request that each extract be submitted and presented by different people.
PRESENTATION TYPES
Please indicate your preferred presentation type when submitting your abstract. The Program Committee will assign abstracts to presentation types and sessions based on scientific merit, broader impacts, and topics. Our mission is to foster community cohesion and strive to provide visibility opportunities for students and early-career researchers; therefore, we will continue with the format without competing, parallel sessions. This means that many submissions will be assigned to our poster session.
Note: We strongly encourage attendees at all career levels to participate in our poster session.
RECOMMENDED TOPICS
Abstracts on any topic relevant to LaserNetUS’s broad research areas will be considered. At submission, authors will indicate whether the presentation is a research product or an awarded LaserNetUS or ZEUS Laser Facility experiment. In keeping with our mission to develop the workforce of tomorrow, the organizing committee will consider the career level of the presenting author when assigning the presentation type.
We especially encourage posters on technical capabilities, diagnostic and detector development, characterization, calibration, and new experimental or analytical techniques.
