• What are the benefits of an in-person registration ticket?

The Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership (KGCCWL) is excited to return to in-person gatherings in Spring 2023. Union Presbyterian is one seminary with two campuses in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC. KGCCWL is excited to host the 2023 Spring Conference in person at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel. An in-person ticket is ideal for attendees. In-person attendee registration guarantees access to the KGCCWL Spring 2023 Conference online platform to engage exhibitors, vendors, and sponsors + all in-person sessions, workshops, events, and meal functions in Charlotte, NC. In-person attendees will receive a conference swag bag with Center designated items.

• What is a virtual ticket?

Virtual registration is available for interested persons who cannot attend the KGCCWL Spring 2023 Conference. It guarantees access to the conference online platform to engage exhibitors, vendors, sponsors + recordings of all in-person content sessions and workshops one week after the meeting ends. Virtual registrants will be mailed a conference box for their participation. 

• What is a conference swag bag or conference box?

In-person attendees to the KGCCWL Spring 2023 Conference will receive one (1) conference swag bag per registration filled with Center designated items. Virtual attendees to the KGCCWL Spring 2023 Conference will receive one (1) conference box per registration filled with Center-designated items by mail. PLEASE NOTE: In efforts to attend to fiscal budgetary needs for the KGCCWL Spring 2023 Conference in Charlotte, NC, KGCCWL has reduced the number of items included in the 2023 conference swag bags and boxes from the 2021 Virtual Spring Conference box.

• When do Early Bird rates end?

Early Bird rates end March 17, 2023, at 11:59 pm. Be sure to purchase your registration, as ticket prices will increase on March 18, 2023. All ticket sales end on April 11, 2023.

• Who may utilize the discounted ticket price?

All currently enrolled students, currently enrolled seminarians, and seniors (65+ and over) are eligible for a discounted rate. Select the discounted ticket upon registration to gain access to this benefit.
