2024 LaserNetUS Meeting

About the Event

The 2024 LaserNetUS Meeting will be held in person from July 16-18, 2024, in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. This event promises a convergence of cutting-edge research and the dynamic culture that defines Austin, known for hosting South by Southwest (SXSW), an acclaimed celebration of technology, film, music, education, and culture. We hope that attendees will enjoy Austin's music and culinary scenes as well as taking a dip in Barton Springs.

Whether you're a seasoned user or a newcomer to the field of high-power laser science and applications, this event is designed to welcome discussions on ongoing research projects and to forge new collaborations. The conference will feature an exciting technical program and an extensive poster session, facilitating interactive exchanges among attendees in an informal environment. Moreover, attendees can anticipate an array of social events, including a reception and networking events.

We eagerly anticipate another successful gathering of researchers and users from across North America, united by a common dedication to advancing high-power laser science and technology.

We are pleased to announce that partial travel support is available for students and postdoctoral researchers interested in attending and presenting at our upcoming meeting. Full travel support will be provided to successful undergraduate applicants. Travel grant applications are submitted through the same form used for abstract submissions, with a deadline of May 6, 2024.
