IBM Quantum has led the world in quantum computing since we became the first team to make a quantum computer available on the cloud in 2016. Today, our fleet of quantum systems is the most advanced in the world.

We recognize that the quantum age will require more than just hardware. The full quantum stack has to progress before these devices can begin solving today's unsolvable problems. Our team works to advance quantum computing at every level, from hardware to error mitigation to programming environments to building a thriving, skilled quantum developer community.

Today, we are filling in the picture of what the era of quantum advantage will look like. We can now see more clearly how quantum and classical systems will work together, and have more fully mapped out the road toward advantage. At the same time, our work with clients and partners has yielded new insights into the enormous potential of quantum technology to deliver value.
