2021 SOMOS Puerto Rico Conference

SOMOS, Inc., is a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization that unites the Latino community, raises awareness, advocates and elevates social consciousness on public policy in collaboration with the New York State Assembly/Senate Puerto Rican & Hispanic Task Force; and ensures the upward mobility of Latino youth through educational empowerment, mentoring programs and scholarships.

SOMOS is a leading force in bringing together Latino communities to make positive and transformative impacts resulting in an improvement in the socioeconomic and civic status of all Latinos across New York State and beyond.

We Are Back! This year's SOMOS Puerto Rico Conference will focus on the ongoing crisis that Puerto Rico faces. The theme “SOMOS La Recuperación”, “We Are The Recovery”, serves as a call to action and a reminder of the need to remain united. Our goal is not only to help the people of Puerto Rico, but to inspire conference participants through our humanitarian efforts and workshops. Participants will engage in service-related activities and in dialogues that will highlight and help to shape priorities for public policy, civic participation and community engagement. Join us in thought-provoking conversations focusing on key issues.

Registration Includes:

Access to all events, receptions, workshops, the SOMOS Despedida at Vivo Beach Club (all white dress code), and transportation to off-site workshops from the host hotel.
