    After all the hard work is done join us for la despedida, an all white affair located at one of the top-ranked beaches in the world.

    Join Us for A Day Of Service In LoĆ­za Aldea

    This years Day of Service is in collaboration with The Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora.

    Loíza is a center for African-inspired traditions, retaining one of the highest percentages of African descendants of all the island towns.

    We must celebrate the intersectionality within the Latino community and remain united.  



    Catholic Charities Day of Service Event


    On Wednesday, November 3, Catholic Charities will once again partner with Caritas of Puerto Rico on a food distribution event to benefit families living in Loiza.

     

    100 40-pound boxes containing many seasonal and local Puerto Rican food items will be distributed to families in this region.  Each box will feed a family of four for one week.

     

    Buses will depart from the Royal Sonesta hotel at 2:00 PM.

    La Goyco Community Workshop Community Cultural Center La Goyco Community Workshop is a community cultural center founded by a group of residents of the Machuchal sector and Loíza street. From the headquarters of the old Pedro G. Goyco School in Santurce, they built cultural, community, and health initiatives.

    Piñones Aprende Y Emprende is a community project that emerged in 2018, after Hurricane María and the closure of the Emiliano Figueroa Torres community school. PAYE aims to provide tutorials, workshops, and experiences to children, youth, and the community of Piñones (Loíza).
