We are thrilled to announce the Inertial Fusion Energy Science and Technology Accelerated Research (IFE-STAR) Conference from April 7–11, 2025, in Breckenridge, Colorado. What to Expect
Each morning will begin with plenary talks and oral presentations followed by lunch provided at the conference venue.
On Monday afternoon, join us for an IFE Driver Requirements Workshop which addresses the critical question: "What are the minimum laser parameters and technologies required for experiments to demonstrate the physics necessary for building a prototype IFE facility?" Participate in this important discussion as we explore direct drive, indirect drive, fast ignition, and shock ignition as potential pathways to achieve fusion.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons are yours to connect with colleagues or explore the recreational activities Breckenridge has to offer.
Dinner is on your own, with many dining options available in the Village of Breckenridge. In the evenings, we will reconvene for focused discussions and poster sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Thursday evening will features the conference banquet and with some fun surprises. One banquet ticket is included with your registration, and we hope to see you there!
A conference welcome reception will be held Sunday evening starting at 7:00 pm. Be sure to arrange your travel plans to reconnect with colleagues and friends as we kick off the IFE-STAR Conference.
