Getting to the Venue
Denver International Airport is approximately 2 hours from the conference location in Breckenridge, CO.
Rental Car: It is highly recommended to go carless in Breckenridge. If you need to rent a car or are driving in from another state, make sure you’re comfortable with mountain driving conditions and choose a vehicle that fits your checked baggage, skis and snowboards. Before you jump on the road, check real-time road conditions at CoTrip.org. If you need a car to get here, we recommend driving in and leaving the car parked at your hotel during your stay. Take the free bus, trolley, or lodging shuttles to and from town or to the mountain so you don’t have to worry about finding parking. Almost everything in town is pay-to-park and fills up quickly.
The distance from Denver to Breckenridge is approximately 95 miles. Estimated travel time is 90-120 minutes depeding on weather and traffic. Use 535 S. Park Ave, Breckenridge, CO 80424 in your GPS to get to the main conference venue.
Once you arrive in Breckenridge, a rental is not needed as most activities are within walking distance. Breckenridge FreeRide or the Main Street Trolley (pictured right) offer free transporation in town.
Airport Shuttles: Save time, money and stress by booking a shuttle from the airport to Breckenridge. You won’t have to worry about finding a rental car to fit all your gear, driving in unfavorable weather conditions, or finding parking once you’re here. Booking online in advance is the best option, but if you need a last minute ride, check with the transportation desk at the airport or call a mountain shuttle service provider to see if they have any seats left for you. Public Transportation: This option is for a traveler comfortable with multiple transport connections and few bags. To get to Breckenridge from Denver International Airport, start by taking the A Line on the RTD rail service from DIA to Union Station (downtown Denver). From Union Station, take the Bustang West Line toward Grand Junction and get off at the Frisco Bus Station. From there, take the free Summit Stage bus to Breckenridge. Once you’ve arrived at the Breckenridge Station, you can easily get to your lodging property on the FreeRide bus, free lodging shuttles, or ride share service.
